Great Paella but forego the Ceviche. Nice patio seating with good seafood paella. The dish serves 2-3 people. The ceviche had fresh seafood but very strong onions (and I like onions) that overpowered the dish. When asked if we could have more chips for the ceviche, we were told we could only have a few.
Good Cuban Restaurant!. We love to walk and try new restaurants on the popular Atlantic Ave strip. Cabana el ray is on a corner in the early part of the crowded strip. The restaurant has a modern flare to it with a long bar area surrounded by tables to dine. Once the restaurant became crowded inside, it was loud and difficult to hear each other. Outside dining might be a better choice in the future. The service was slow, but the waiter was very pleasant. My favorite dish was the Churassco, but the mushroom appetizer was incredible. I am looking forward to trying this restaurant again in the near future.
Just had dinner there last night and it was superb. Great Latin Food selection, big portions and great drinks. Try the Pisco a Peruvian drink. Our waiter Bruno was excellent, helpful and very friendly. Wonderful atmosphere right on Atlantic avenue. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!
Anniversary. We’ve been regulars at Cabana since it opened in Palm Beach & 8 years ago in Delray Beach. in all that time, my wife and I , or the many guests we have invted to dinner have never had a bad experience. On Tuesday, the Delray location celebrated its’ 8th anniversary. As usual , the food was great. Mario , the GM, Arturo and Diego the managers were on hand to make everyone feel at home. They are a great team, led by an owner, Glen, who has always strived to satisfy everyone. The entire wait staff [ especially Juan & Nico] is terrific. Thank you all for another great night and we wish you many, many more years of success.Sal & Linda
Great Lunch!. While visiting Delray for the first time, my family and I chose a lunch spot randomly while strolling down Atlantic Ave. We were so glad we stumbled upon this place! It was a perfect lunch spot! We all opted for the lunch buffet in order to sample a little of everything and it was so much better than I would have imagined! I’m normally not much of a buffet lover, but the food on theirs was fresh and yummy, even though we were there at the tail end of lunch. I hope to return and try some other items on the menu! The staff was also very friendly.
Went there for a late lunch last Sunday. We both had the Churrasco with rice and beans. It was awesome! Hands down the best black beans I’ve ever had! The place is beautiful! We sat outside, and although it was hot, we had a great time. Our server, the food and the place were all great! Oh! And I had the tres leches for dessert and it was heaven!
Great Food. Cabana in Delray Beach serves Latin American food. Every Appetizer on the menu tastes fantastic. My favorite is the Camarones de Coco. The Paella Marinera is the only entree I ever order because it’s cooked to perfection and the flavors are unique; it’s the dish I can’t have enough of. For desert, I had the banana fritters and flan.
