Great food, lively venue and good service. Their signature cocktail, the Caipirinha, is potent and leans to the sweet side. For my second, I ordered it with more lime and it was the way I like it. The Aquacate salad was delicious and lightly dressed. My wife had the yellowtail snapper (a special) and it was excellent. I had the lamb lollipop ribs (a special). They were at the requested temperature, had the requested light char and were delicious. Our requested table was right next to the sidewalk and we found it to be quite entertaining; other outside and inside seating options are available. In the highly competitive restaurant world (especially on Atlantic Ave in Delray), this place is a stand-out and worthy of many returns.
We just finished an incredible dinner here! Appetizer of Tapas de Gambas wss great and dinners of La Playa salad and Churrrasco were truly amazing! Scott said it was the best skirt steak he’d ever had and I wanted a straw to get every drop of the killer ginger vinegrette dressing. Fabian O provided dynomite service! We’re glad we chose Cabana El Ray!
This is my go to restaurant! Menu is fantastic with a wide range of selections! My favorite app is the ceviche and the empanadas! Also the Paella Valenciana is a very large portion and can easily be split to feed two guests or take the rest home and have a nice lunch the following day! Portions are fairly large and all around a great choice! I highly recommend it!
