Whenever we’re in Delray, we have to eat at Docs. Docs has the best double cheeseburger EVER!!! There patty melt is to die for. My kids love their footlong franks and onion rings. I wish we lived closer so we could go every weekend. Docs Rocks!!
Gross gross gross! Dirty and greasy.
Great burger and franks. Was driving by witha group of friends riding harley’s, Doc’s outside was so nostalgic, had to stop in. Burgers were great! My buddy had the footlong frank, awesome! fries were so good. They sell ice cold beer too, but we were on our bikes so went with the blk raspberry shake, so thick got brain freeze!!! Prices were great, much better than alot of these new so-called burger chains. Great place to hang and watch the sights on atlantic.
I liked it. I read all the reviews and was leery, BUT it is a landmark and I’ve been by it a trillion times. So I took my mom there. I was torn from all the horrible reviews. It wasn’t bad I fries and a went with a cheese burger, I was asked lettuce, tomato and onion and I said just lettuce, plus for $2.89 you can make a combo with french fries and a small drink with refills so.my mom had the chicken Philly also with the combo. I did not taste it but it looked nice. They did not cut our sandwich or burger. The plastic knive cut the sub, so who cares. Floors looked OK The reviews were so bad BUT not so bad. Heard that these are new owners too. Bottom line my burger was good and the fries to and a lot of them.
Greasy but good! A little over prices because everything is a la carte. Good veggie burgers too!
Used to be good…. I’ve lived in Delray for about 12 years and used to enjoy Doc’s. The burgers were good and the place was fun. I decided to bring my two boys there recently and ordered them two children’s meals (cheeseburgers, fries and drinks) and then two small cups of soft-serve. The tab for this was just about $20. Worst of all the burgers were burnt…completely black and dry, the rolls were stale and broken. The french fries were strange…some were crispy and good and others were soggy and barely cooked. The soft-serve was good. I would never expect gourmet food at Doc’s…but it is pretty obvious that there is little care for the quality whatsoever…and at those prices it’s ridiculous. I guess maybe it’s just a place to go for a cone and stay away from the food.
Stick with the ice cream. We were so hungry and we knew Doc’s would be quick about it. We got a burger, gyros and the chili burger. The fries were ok, nothing really good. They should not even offer the gyro and the burgers were fine. Price for each combo meal was over $9. We didn’t get the ice cream, but we’ve had it before and its usually good.
