Lovely lunch! Had the refreshing spicy chunky gazpacho topped with some crab pieces; the tasty baked oysters; and the salmon flat bread –comes with mixed greens drizzled with balsamic. Lots more interesting items to try next time: crab cakes;fried oysters;salads, etc etc.
Great Food!. Excellant raw bar, had fresh blue oysters. The chef is very creative, and has polished recipes. Had a great grilled yellow tail with reduction sauce over rice. Then finished with his homemade key lime pie. Small place, yet exquisite cuisine. Good crowd on a Tuesday night, very good service. Highly recommend, we will be back.
Aquaculturist Delight. A wonderful seafood delight in down town Delray Beach. The hostess & owner, Tina, was gracious andgenerally concerned on how we enjoyed our meal. Our appitizer, the little neck clams & Blue Point oysterswere chilled just right and sweet. The 1.5 Lb lobster Entree was boiled just right with firm sweet meat.This came with corn on the cob, shrimp and clams. It’s a New Englander’s dream down here in Florida
Not many seafood options unless you want oysters. The fish on the sandwich was half the size of the huge bun.
FYI beer and wine only.
Consistently fabulous. We live downtown and we have a huge selection when it comes to amazing restaurants… J&J is one of our favorite places. The food is always fantastic and the service is exceptional. The new look is clean and inviting. Love the stone crabs, lobster fra diablo, mussels and even the stuffed chicken, Basically anything on the menu! We can even sit outside with our dog. Love it!
My husband and I ate there tonight. The curry coconut shrimp and scallops is what I had. He had the Maine lobster. The scallops were tasty and cooked to perfection…the shrimp was rock hard and the rice was mushy in some parts and dry in the other parts. My husbands lobster didn’t crack when he broke it open, rather kind of soggy textureless shell – it also tasted very dirty. He sent it back. Will not be going back and do not recommend it to anyone.
