Short Road Trip Lunch. It’s been a crazy week, so a short road trip was in order. One thing about Mellow Mushroom is their consistency, and we’ve never been to this location…as a matter of fact this was our first Florida visit. to a Mellow Mushroom.Molly was our waitress and she was spot on. She recommended we start with the Parmesan Cheese Pretzels, great choice. We went with the House Special Pizza which was delicious.They do offer a Beer Club at this location…..100 of their different beers and you’re a member….in other words a few weeks of focused dedication and you’re in.In all my travels you can always count on Mellow Mushroom and this location is no different. fricksworld.blogspot.com
Great staff, wide selection of beers on tap. And, oh yeah, the pizza— excellent! Highly recommend the Holy Shiitake! Delicious!
Get a specialty pizza then top it off with there amazing backed chocolate chip cookie… Frikan delicious.
Awesome? I don’t know about that! But pretty darned good anyway.. Pizza is always consistently good. Subs are tasty and so are the salads and other appetizers. Nothing here is high-end spectacular, but everything is true and tried and always on point. Never do we get a bad meal. Usually we take out, but we’ve eaten in several times as well and the service is touch and go. Usually it’s efficient albeit slightly slow. However, we’ve experienced a few extremes as well.Good management also! One time, an item from our take-out order was missing. After looking at the receipt, I noticed I was not charged for it. They told me on the phone if I came back they would give it to me for free. Not only did they give me the free item that was missing from the order, they also gave me a $15 gift card to use on the next visit.
