This was my first visit to Park Tavern, just like everything else in Delray Beach the parking can be a pain but there is a lot and a garage around the corner to use. Upon arrival hostess was very friendly, we went into the bar which was crowded and lively. They seem to specialize in artisan cocktails and craft brews as they had a really interesting selection that not only looked good but also tasted great too. We got a few appetizers and was pretty surprised their homemade chips and caramelized onion dip was awesome, their loaded fries were really good too and their bbq sliders were quite tasty. There is both indoor and outdoor (patio) seating and a cool bar area that gets pretty popular. Would recommend checking this place out if your looking for something good to drink for happy hour or even a unique bite to eat.

I wrote last review about the food and service being good. I went back and the food was still good. However, I met the bartenders the other people talk about. They were not attentive and rude. They were all meatheads though.06 May, 2013I read all the reviews about god and service. We had the oysters (great!), the tuna appetizer (yum!) and the cheese plate (awesome). There is a half off happy hour on appetizers. The service at the bar with Joe was great! Wide selection of cocktails, wines and beers!
Excellent food and service! Came for lunch and sat on the patio. Between 3 of us we had ahi tuna salad, mussels and scallops. All the food was delicious. It was a little pricey but with it for very high quality meals.
Took an hour to get seated. We were waiting for an outdoor table, we were told 45 minutes, after an hour they seated us inside. An hour and half later we finally got our food, my husband had gotten his food 30 minutes before everyone else. When asked to speak to manager, the manager and general manager were jerks. Weren’t helpful, didn’t even apologize and never came back. Food is expensive, very loud restaurant, service is as bad as I’ve seen in a long, long time.
Horrible Service.. Tried PT on a groupon deal. The groupon included 1 app, 2 entrees and 2 drinks. We told the server about the groupon and placed our order (after waiting about 30 minutes to be seen). My husband asked the server to try one of the garnishes on the menu to see if he would like the item and the waitress had to get manager permission first (to bring us some pickles!). The music was obnoxiously loud and the wait for our food even worse. Our reservations were for 8pm and we didnt see apps until after 10. I will say the food when it finally showed up was pretty good. When the bill arrived the drinks were still on the bill. The manager said he would not remove the drinks b/c we didn’t order ‘house’ drinks. The waitress never mentioned this limitation and the groupon simply stated a dollar value ($12 max) not a certain drink we had to order. The manager was condecending and refused to even give us the $ value towards the bill and have us pay any difference. Paying for the drinks isnt even my main dissappointment. The managers attitude was much worse! I thought the point of a groupon deal was to get new customers to try your place and become loyal fans!? Given the way we were treated by the manager I would not return.
