Terrible Attitude. Valet gave us a $10 coupon to present at dinner. When we gave the server the coupon he told us it was not valid because we ordered a special. The special was Prime Rib which they serve every Friday. We asked for the manager and explained that some of us did not have the special. He told us that the coupon applies to any special that anyone gets forfiets the coupon. On a $200 bill, that is ridiculous and we told the manager. He became nasty and said that’s just the way it is. Not only was his attitude obnoxious but the prime rib was tough and the service terrible. Avoid this restaurant. Food is poor, service is bad and management has an attiitude problem.
Don’t waste your money! !. I went to Prime for Valentine’s day with my friend. We didn’t have reservations so was surprised when they could seat us right away. After being there I know why. They had a pre set $75 menu…we thought okay fine it’s valentine’s day as long as food is great it will be worth it. The food was not great. We both ordered the filet and garlic mash potatoes…it is a steak house after all. It was Very Disappointing. Cold and tasteless…we had to ask for salt just to add some flavor to our meal. Very blan and not even worth $10. Desert was even worse also cold and it lookes like a pile of poop…not appealing to taste or eye. Maybe if the service was good it would balanced out the experience. ..nope that sucked too. Waiter was not helpful., didn’t know his stuff and was never around. All in all two thumbs down. I wouldn’t ever go back.
Waste of time & money!! Worst service ever and GM Andrei doesn’t seem to care! After spending at least $100 at the bar on sub par drinks, we decided to have dinner- worst mistake ever!! We were sat at the table, and proceeded to wait over 20 minutes for anyone to come and bring set ups or even water. Finally we asked a waiter floating around to please help us, and he took out appetizer order then never returned. We waited an additional 15 minutes (luckily the conversation was good) or we would have gotten up to leave. I asked to speak with GM who didn’t seem to care that we were not being helped. Out appetizer arrived (calamari), and it was cold and chewy. We decided that we had had enough and asked for our check. Getting the check took an additional 15min. Total waste of time and money. I would never return and caution anyone going unless wasting time and money is on your agenda!! We ended up at Solita where the food and service were as always excellent!!
WORST RESTURANT!. My wife and I tried Prime last night, we should have read the reviews!We both ordered the swordfish and salad and both were unedible!The manager told us that they got the fish in that day and it should be fresh!(Fresh from a dumpster?)We were charged , paid the bill and went to another restaurant for dinner and trust me we will never return to Prime and they will be gone!!!
My fianc & I are visiting Del Ray from Scottsdale, AZ & we had an amazing experience with top notch service & hospitality at the bar with Joe. First class all the way!
The four of us came for a quick drink and it turned into two bottles of wine and a very delicious appetizer. Our bartender Joseph was there to help choose an excellent wine. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant is very upbeat. We will be coming back tonight for dinner
