Friday night we ended up going to Delray and decided to try Salt. Unlike some of these reviews we loved everything about this place! The hostess was very sweet and our server (Fred) was absolutely wonderful. We each had a filet and two sides and ended with some cheesecake. Stay a little later and they have such a good looking crowd! Will have to back again for dinner and late night!
Salt Seven service Del Ray Beach. Since I moved here I have enjoyed hanging at Salt 7. The food is good, timely, and they adjust to what I want, like asparagus, which are amazing, over potatoes etc. The Service is top notch and a great place to sit and have a drink, eat and watch a game, socialize. My server, and bartender, Sonny, was as gracious, as attentative. Just great experience, if you like to hang out and enjoy the evening, rain or shine, Salt 7 in Del Ray is the place
Saved by the bartender. We took a risk and tried Salt7 again this Saturday evening. Our last experience was less then desirable, but if you don’t have anything good to say….. Ok so to be upfront I’m a food snob with totally unrealistic expectations. So when the table service fails I’ll often give the bar a chance hoping to be surprised. This time was the best I could have hoped for, not only was our bartender actually well versed in the menu, very impressive since apparently she’s only been there a short time, she kept our drinks full all evening. We truly enjoyed our night and can’t wait to come back. My advice…apps at the bar, ask for Sonny
My husband and I have steered clear of the Ave after a couple bad experiences over the last couple of years. Last night we decided to give this place a second try as our last visit this summer wasn’t the best. The hostesses greeted us welcomingly as we decided to take a seat at the bar. Our bartender greeted us with a smile and an happy hour menu told us her name(Sunny) and got our names as well. She recommended drinks and appetizers from their happy hour menu and when none of their speciality drinks appealed to me she made me a drink of her on concoction(caprioska?) that was out of this world. It was refreshing to go to a restaurant and have a bartender who was friendly attentive and obviously loved where they worked….a rarity it seems these days. We ordered the Mac and cheese and a sushi roll, both of which were delicious. My husband and I had such a great time that we will be back and I recommend if your last visit was subpar give them another try, it will be worth. I’m happy we did.
