Great food and price elegant and cozy place for birthdays and bridal babyshower place to unvind. Just a great place to bring a friend or mom for Mothers day
Rudeness at Gift Shop. Tea food was average-good. Service nice, kind, efficient. But beware of the gift shop!! Proprietor was sooooo rude to me, admonishing me about something I was saying to my friend (*nothing* about the tea parlor or gift shop), that I doubt I’ll be back!
Would not recommend it!!!. I planned an 80th birthday lunch there for my Mom. Food was mediocre at best. Service was not much better. The worst was the fact that I brought in a very expensive cake (which the restaurant tried to discourage in favor of them making one) and they took half of my cake! We had 14 people for the lunch and the cake was large enough to serve at least 30! They gave all of my guest a tiny piece of cake and when I asked them to give everyone a piece to go, they brought out a square piece of cake that could serve about 6 normal slices of cake. We all could not believe it! The last straw was when I went to pay the bill, i was charged varying prices for meals despite being given a flat rate and $90 for two bottles of champagne when not all of my guests drank mimosas!!!! Finally, I went to pay th bilit’s itch my AmEx and the owner said we discussed the fact that we don’t take AmEx. I reminded her that we never had such a conversation and that if we had, I would never have considered her establishment as I always use my AmEx for large purchases to acquire points. I would rate this restaurant a 5 on a scale of 1-10.
Love this place!. Love love love the food, the decor and the vast assortment of tea. great for a quick lunch or baby/bridal shower.thanks again!
Disappointing. I brought my granddaughter here for a special lunch and I have to say it was disappointing. The restaurant is lovely, getting our own individual pots of tea was nice, as was the waitress but the food was, at best, mediocre. The pea soup was runny and lacking in flavor and the sandwich my granddaughter got had some kind of sweet dressing on it that was unexpected. I got the spinach quiche which was so rich I couldn’t finish it all and the crust was bland and tasteless. Aside from that, it is a small room that is great for showers but as one who came in for lunch I felt like an uninvited guest at a strangers baby shower. The 3-tiered presentation I would like to have gotten was $27.00 per person—a bit overpriced, as was everything.
I love this little oasis in Delray beach! The food is outstanding and the staff is wonderful.
Wonderful Experience!. I took my grandmother to Tealicious for her 95th birthday and was so pleased with the entire experience! The staff was so friendly and I really felt that they all went above and beyond to make my grandmother happy. Besides that, the tea menu was extensive and the lemon ginger snap green tea that I had was delicous, as was all the food that came with the high tea. I would absolutely recommend Tealicious to anyone!!
