It is very expensive place with very bad food. I ordered seafood bisque. In less than 2 minutes I already had it in front of me. What does it tell you? Bread was not fresh just warmed up. Sea scallops were too salty. I typically do not write reviews, but that experience was just too bad.
Friendly fast efficient service at the checkin desk. Seated immediately with a smile. Lovely personable waitress. Food delicious: enjoyed the large Caesar salad; wedge salad with bacon and blue cheese. Pork Osso Buco served on a bed of seasoned collards — fork tender meat;flavorful brown gravy;all over a creamy polenta. The grilled snapper was perfectly cooked and served with roasted veggies. Nice sized portion. Very pleased with all aspects.
The theme was cold– cold onion soup, cold fries and very cold venue. The fix is obvious.
One of my favorite restaurants in Delray. Everytime we eat there the food is excellent whether you go there for lunch or dinner. Great service and decor.
Inedible. Worst dining experience of 2010.
Very nice dinner and service. We had a business dinner here with a large group. They put us in the wine room and it was wonderful. The service was prompt and very friendly. The entire meal was perfect from the appetizers to dessert. We had a sample of all the appetizers with the brie being my favorite and the humus was very good. The fillet was perfect and the carrot cake wonderful. Quite a few in our party had fish and scallops and everyone said that is was wonderful.
Everyone THINKS they could be restauranteurs. When I read BJ’s comment about his dissatisfaction with the wait process and reservations it disturbs me. Restaurants are a BUSINESS, lets not forget that point. Restaurants that take reservations do their best to honor them, they CANNOT anticipate the lenght of time guests will sit and talk and hold-up a table even though they see others wanting to dine. His anger should have been with the selfish guests that take up a table for an abnormally a long time. Hostess, at the most get paid minimum, get also fustrated by arogant and obnoxious customers, like BJ. Customers like BJ think that when they walk in the waters should part and they should get seated, if the restaurant is slow, maybe that could happen, BUT is the restaurant is slow chances are they won;t be in business a long time. I frequent a restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale, CANYON, every time you go there it is a 45 minute wait with reservations. Have a drink at the bar and relax.
