Great surprise in Delray Beach!. Went to The Porch as guests of visiting friends who heard it was great! On a Frday at 5:30, we managed to arrive just as a deluge occurred ! We were promptly seated, given a lovely cocktail-the Porch Martini …sweet, tart, delicious! We ordered dates wrapped in prosciutto and lobster bruschetta…perfect, sweet dates, stuffed with cheese and grilled with salty ham. The lobster was served as a generous scoop of salad topped with spicy avocado on crispy toast. The Caesar salads were crisp and salty with shredded Parmesan and anchovies. The pasta with clams was light and sea salty while the bolognese was meaty, sweet with fresh tomtoes and rich. The cedar planked salmon was grilled perfectly, topped with horseradish crust and the lobster ravioli was creamy, luscious and full of seafood ! The wines were lovely..Italian pinot Grigio and Cali Chard. The hot rolls and oil, garli, pepper mixture were addictive . All in all a perfect dinner! We will be back!
