Great food and service. Maybe my luck was going when it wasn’t so busy or asking a local where to dine. If I had read the Spoon, I might have skipped the joint and opted for something else. I am glad I didn’t. The food was absolutely superb and our waiter, who was a young man fresh from Italy was very attentive. We also were there at lunch which is about 30% savings from dinner. Started with a plate of baby Octopus and the Beet Salad. Perfectly prepared and flavorful . For entree, wife had the Parpadelle Bolonaise and I had Penne Vesuviana. We had leftovers galore and left feeling very satsfied. Give this place a try. At lunch anyway. Never saw a maitre d to piss me off like some of their other customers.

Food went downhill…..so sad. This used to be one of my favorite Italian returants in Delray Beach for years. I spent alot of time there but in the last 2 years the food has gone downhill. Not sure why the owner who frequently walks around the tables on certain nights doesn’t see what is happening. I think the regulars have kept the place going strong like I used to and because it is always crowded they are not affected yet. I will not be going there anymore because the food was the big draw for me all these years and it just isn’t good or worth the price any longer. The baked Spagetti with shrimp in a conaqc sause was my favorite dish but they have now replaced the large butterfly shrimp with small chinese shrimp you would get in a take out. For $28 that is not going to fly. I recently went there for lunch forgetting about last years dissapointment at dinner with burnt bread, a much smaller portion of a once large piece of brasoile and the change in my favorite dish. I ordered a salad and the baked spagetti dish. I never returned a salad in my life but it looked old tasted chewey and the spagetti dish well, I already told you what happened to that. My girlfriend looked at me when we got our order and said, what happened to this place So that was my last meal there and truthfully I am sad for the place changing like that because even though it was pricy, it used to be worth every dollar…..not anymore!
Smoke. If you are a smoker and ready for a rude waiter please go to this place11 Jan, 2013Rude…rude and again rude. Food overpriced and I would not recomand to eat in this restaurant. They all act like you are doing them a favour. I wouyld never eat at Tramonti ever again. They need to get some training for the stuff.
Sat at the bar and was served a pasta dish that tasted great. Service lacks when busy and yes the owner is a d-bag but the food is good. If you have thick skin and dont need your ass kissed then you can get good drinks and food here.
