One of my favorite outdoor dining restaurants on Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach. This restaurant has a very open feel and a hopping bar atmosphere, especially in season. On this occasion, we decided to order from theirspecials which included an artichoke appetizer along with jumbo shrimp special and the lobster risotto dish as our entrees; which were all fabulous. Our server was patient and very attentive. The Greek side of me definitely loves a great meal, along with lots of laughing, loud discussions, and if possible some dancing. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not have any room for that.

The bread tasted authentic with it’s hard crust and tender middle. I had the gnocchi, which seemed handmade and fresh. At $24, it was rather overpriced. My husband and I felt like cattle crammed into the stocks, as the tables were packed in there. Our waiters treated us like cattle, too, and didn’t provide the level of service expected of a pricier dining establishment.

Terrible and overpriced. Overpriced.. the food is something I would make at home and would even taste better. The service was probably the highlight of dinner which is probably sad as the whole dining experience. I have been to Northern Italy as well as many Italian restaurants in NYC.. I would have to say that this place takes the top 3 of my worst dining experience in terms of food. Someone mentioned that this is the best Italian restaurant in Delray Beach, which is the reason we chose to eat here. Pretty regretful and the tab at the end didn’t help. I can’t even remember what we ordered because the food was that forgettable. My husband ordered the homemade lasagna as our server suggested it; the sauce had no taste and the pasta was soggy. I wished I stayed home than to waste so much on subpar food.
