They only have two seafood items so I don’t think it earns that category, but as for BBQ and sweet tea they are fabulous. Reasonable prices and great southern hospitality.
Yum! I travel all over the US and have a healthy appreciation for good BBQ. Just tried Bucks for the first time this week:Pros:1.) Excellent BBQ’d meats. Pork is exceptionally tender, Brisket to die for. Didn’t get to try the smoked fish but will next time. 2.) Super laid back atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor eating options. ToGo ordering as well. 3.) The line was LONG…but we had our food within 10 mins so they were ‘busting it’ in the back pushing out orders. 4.) Beans and fries were very good. Sauces we good with several different options. Mostly Southern BBQ sauce flavors. Cons:1.) I was SUPER disappointed in the Banana Pudding. It was $6.00 and tasted like shit. There were zero banana’s (I mean, c’mon, WTH) with hints of lemon & cinnamon (plain weird flavors), and pudding that tasted cheap and manufactured. Buck’s: this is harsh critique, but if you can’t put out something on par with the quality of the BBQ, then don’t offer it. I was ticked I spent $6.00 on something that nasty. 2.) Seating was tight, and I don’t know that it qualifies as con, but if you go at peak times it’s going to be hard to get decent, un-cramped seating; maybe consider a ToGo order. Over all I def recommend this joint. The desert I had needed an intervention. Wouldn’t recommend buying a desert there, unless you feel like throwing $$$ away. Spend that extra dough on the BBQ.
Wow!!!. Great food! The smoked prime rib was fantastic. T the vibe at this place was perfect. Try the Alabama white sauce.

This is one of the best bbq shacks I have been too. Great food and great service. Owner was very nice and friendly, took time to come around and make sure everything was good. Neat little place. Smoked turkey was amazing! Ribs were good as well! Strongly recommend this place!!!!!
Incredible!!!! Do not miss this little gem! Best BBQ in the area! The pulled pork was so delicious that no sauce was necessary (though every sauce was yummy). And don’t miss the smoked prime rib. I though I had died and gone to heaven! The establishment is quaint, very clean and the staff so friendly that it felt like we were old friends. I cannot wait to return!
