I went yesterday for lunch…Really good bbq ribs!!! I especially liked the calamari….it was so fresh. I would recommend
Mixed results. We ate on the patio for lunch and enjoyed it. The server was cheerful. I was surprised to find I liked their gumbo. I make a great version of gumbo and like to sample others wherever I go. This one had a pleasing meaty flavor that I crave and expect in the real thing. I’d be glad to buy it again -and that’s a huge gumbo complement from me!The brisket fell short for us. It had a lot of fat, was cut thickly so was hard to eat. We thought it was kind of bland -it needed smokiness or browning. I seriously had one better from Sam’s warehouse. The kids’ chicken fingers were great -juicy, all white meat strips with light breading.
Too loud. We’ve gone a couple of times and it seems like it’s a place to drink and be loud…if that’s what you’re looking for then you’ll be happy. We just wanted some good barbecue without all the drunks….found it elsewhere
Dark. Music is too loud. Music is dark. People yelling and drunk people with loud cars/bikes ruining your dinner.Food was not good and service was not attentive
Soooo good. My husband, sons and I were just driving down 98 trying to find some place we’ve never been for lunch. We saw the Hog’s Breath sign and went to the little shack outside the saloon. We got pulled pork sandwiches and beef brisket sandwiches. I have never had better. I ate mine without sauce because it was that good. Next time we are in Destin, we will definitely go back to this place. Two thumbs up! 🙂
Matt and Paul say DAISY DUKE WOULD APPROVE. BBQ was good and the atmosphere was fun. We even bought t-shirts.
