The staff that greeted us set the tone of a wonderful meal. The hostess and waitress were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and aptly appointed.The little cheese biscuits or better known little bites of heaven were fantastic. Everything my group had was good – the giant stuffed potato, pork tacos , brisket, Carolina pulled pork and turkey. I thought everything could have a little hotter but favor was on point. I highly recommend Jims.

I know ex wife.We had the pulled pork sandwich and it is FANTASTIC but before dinner was served we had the biscuits and they are the main attraction for my grandson he loved them.He told me grandpa you need to write a review on this place and give it a 5 star rating and I have too agree.The next day we went out for lunch and he said grandpa let’s go back to Jim & Nicks …Yes I’m a sucker for my grandson and BBQ so we went back and had the ribs..WOW these ribs are just as good as the pulled pork, and of course we had BISCUITS …We even bought a bag to make at home.If you live in St.Louis and vacation in Destin and love BBQ PLEASE stop in here and let me know what you think of the Q and don’t forget the BISCUITS ….
Don’t let the franchise scare you! This place is legit! You can’t beat good old southern bar-b-q done right. I have never had anything I didn’t like. Cheddar Biscuits, Bar-B-Q Nachos and more!

This place was AMAZING! I would totally eat here again. The ribs,salad,and the fries were the best things! Service was awesome we were in and out! Anyone in Destin should try this place. The music was great too. If you hungry, you should go to this amazing place!
This is a BBQ joint that is a regional chain. It’s very good, most of the time. You can expect tasty cheese corn muffins before your meal and they are GOOD! Lunch specials are under $10. The chicken and turkey are very good, brisket and pork are hit and miss.
Terrible management!. On Saturday, August 30th, this venue was chosen as the lunch site for a group of 25 persons. Arrangements were made in advance. Upon arrival, all were seated and a waiter introduced himself, taking beverage orders from everyone. When he returned, almost 30 minutes later, he did not know who had ordered what. With a little help from the hostess and a waitress, the beverages were matched with the persons that placed the order. Nest, each person ordered from the menu. It took an hour plus for the entrees to come and again, the waiter had no idea who had ordered what! And again, the hostess and two other waitresses came to his rescue. Appetizers and side dishes were ordered that were never delivered to the tables. When it was time for the billing, we waited and waited and waited….and when the bills did come, they were a mix charges for meals that weren’t ordered, meals that were paid for then added onto someone else’s bill, meals/appetizers, side dishes that weren’t delivered but charged for. The manager was absolutely no help. He didn’t have a clue as to what to do or just didn’t give a darn! Seriously. A waitress stepped in and along with the organizer of the group, pitched in to straighten out the mess that left everyone wondering why this was happening and why the manager was acting so aloof. It was inexcusable management from the beginning. Why would you assign one person to staff a party of 25? Can’t blame it on the crowd as there were less than 6 persons there at a time within the 3 plus hours that we were there. No compensation. No apologies. No nothing from the manager, only from the waitress who helped the organizer. Hope she still has a job. I will never again visit Jim ‘n Nicks. Remember me as the patron who said she would write the review and send the letter to the CEO/owner. Stay tuned. It’s on its way!!
