We were in town for a wedding. Lagniappe was recommended by a number of people. Service and flexibility were excellent. We did not arrive until around 9 ish and they accommodated ou party of 7 within 5 mins. We had a variety of entrees . The portions are tremendous. Everything was brought to the table timely and hot, even with us being one of the last parties being seated for the evening. Personally I had the,Barbeque Shrimp and my wife had the Grouper Corvette. The group of 7 was very satisfied with our overall experience. It’s worth visiting if you’re in town looking for good seafood
Our family dined here for my birthday dinner. The food was amazing! We had a little bit of everything. I had the Seafood Lagniappe, husband had filet, and my parents had the seafood platter. They even had kid friendly choices so my son was able to enjoy his grilled cheese and my daughter had popcorn shrimp. The creole potatoes that come with your entree were so good. The servers and staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. We dined on the patio with beautiful views of the marina. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Very good… started off with a cup of gumbo and then had the blackened grilled shrimp with butter rum sauce and ended with a piece of key lime pie.
Excellent all the way around. Food was excellent and atmosphere and view was spectacular! Service was very attentive without being pushy. Highly recommend!
I’m on a business trip from Europe and I’m fed up of tasteless fried food. This restaurant is recommended for a number of reasons, fresh food, good courteous service, and a great selection on the menu. There is a good wine menu, bur I chose one of the local beers on tap. Not only will I recommend this restaurant to my friends, I will try and return before I leave Florida. 4.5 is scored nit 5.0 because I sat inside, and the noise level was quite high.
My favorite place to eat in Destin. I have been eating there for over 20 years and it never disappoints. I always order the grouper topped with crab and a butter sauce. My favorite fish. I like their salad with house dressing and the twice baked potatoes are great. The prices are much higher than when I started eating there, but it’s always a treat.
Beware of all of the tourist traps in Destin.Louisiana lagniappe truly offers something extra food and service were outstanding. The atmosphere is a bit rustic but the food makes up for it
