An icon. Whether just for drinks or the full meal deal with a great steak this place delivers. They have it all including ones on the walls…..ceiling and everywhere else.Food is top notch. A must visit when in town.
Hubby had pork chops, tender, a lil salty for me, i had the corn beef & cabbage. I luv the presentation of the cabbage wrapped in corn beef & very tender tasteful. Enjoyed the restroom doors & a guy stopped me from going into men’s restroom. & all the lucky dollars /$1 all over ceilings, poles & walls. Glad it was a highly recommended spot
Go hungry! No need for appetizer although the calamari is delicious. Wedge salad is amazing as well as the ice tea. The prime rib is smoked and this is very different from any other I have ever had. Plenty of roasted garlic on the side as well. Believe it or not the service was just a bit too fast for us and we took most of our food with us in boxes. Hence the 4 not a 5. This is a must go to place if in Destin
You definitely wont go home hungry- big portions. Pretty pricey place, so I wouldnt suggest bringing the kiddos or going if your near broke. Steak was great, garlic mashed potatoes were really loose like fake potatoes. Mixed drinks the wake was awesome, and even got a souvenir jar. Very loud, very busy and super crammed pack- wasnt hardly any room to set comfortably. Might go back again if ever back here- mostly for the drinks.
Definitely recommend if youre hungry. Was a little concerned by the cheesy Irish atmosphere at first, but the whole staff from the bartenders to the hostess were very friendly and helpful especially considering how busy they were. Great drink specials and very affordable food. Itd be hard to leave hungry. Id recommend this place for lunch, dinner or drinks as long as your not looking for something fancy. We had the ribeye, porkchop, pretzel appetizer (which was huge) and the hamburger. Really surprised by how good the burger was. I did try the 18 cent bean soup btw and it was worth trying.
LOVE McGuire’s! Never a bad time or bad food!!! Definitely worth the wait if there’s a waitlist. A fun atmosphere for sure. Pay attention to the bathroom signs. Hubs had a couple beers and almost wandered into the wrong one! (Ha!)
The whole experience was amazing. Soooo much food! We got the Reuben egg rolls, they were my favorite. I got the Shepard’s pie and it was really good. My husband got a burger and he said it was pretty good, it was huge!! The service was amazing. Will definitely go back!
