Locals welcome. My friends, family, and co-workers love foing to Pepitos for great food, drinks and friendly servers. A few of our favorites are Roger, Martin, and Edwardo. Thank you for making locals feel welcome even in season!

Alberto. Pepito’s Mexican Restaurant is definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Destin, Florida. It has an extensive Mexican menu, authentic, and the workers are friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable for Destin. It is so good that my wife and I went there two nights in a row during our recent visit to Destin. The waitresses for those two nights, Valeryia and Keyla, were both A+ waitresses, helpful and attentive. Two of the best waitresses ever.
New resident from Louisiana. Just moved from Louisiana where we have great Mexican restaurants so we are picky. Been here 1 week and have eaten here twice already. Chicken quesadilla, chicken nachos, and fajitas all excellent. Also tried the fried ice cream tonight and it was delicious.
BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT EVER !!!. I constantly search for a GOOD Mexican Restaurant….Pepitos is beyond that!! On a scale of 1 to 10…this is an 11 !!! The food was real and NOT nuked into a cheezy gooey mess. The rice was unbelievably good and authentic. I had a marguerite that was to die for. My husband and I took friends there while spending a month in Destin and they too agreed it was THE BEST. It’s not in an obvious spot…it’s kind of tucked away in a strip mall off the main road but it’s definitely worth hunting for. My ONLY regret was that we discovered it late in our stay and I didn’t get back. DO go there if you are in the area (Destin, FL) and like Mexican Food. Our waiter was Victor and he was awesome. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this restaurant !!
Great local place for Mexican. Went here for dinner and it was excellent! Our server was Victor and I would definitely recommend asking to have him as your server, he was such a genuinely kind and caring guy! He made excellent suggestions and recommended the great margaritas! The queso appetizer is excellent because the chips are fresh!
Local Perspective. We are lifelong residents of Destin and we eat here when ever we are looking for great Mexican food. Reasonable prices, good service and awesome Margaritas!!
