  Can remember the very first time I went to a Ruths Chris steakhouse. Was very excited after hearing several friends rave about the steaks and sides.I went with family and was appalled at the lack of quality. Seriously, I have no earthly idea what folks like about this restaurant, other than perhaps people who enjoy wasting money at the *thought* of getting quality.After traveling the US extensively, internationally, and having many a steak I feel confident in telling you this is an abysmal waste of your time and money. Nothing they offer is that good. It’s all overpriced, I think with the hope of making you feel posh…to me they fail on all points. Longhorn can procure a better, solid, more flavorful and tender steak at a fraction of the cost. And yes, I’m aware Longhorn isn’t the best, by a long shot, but there is something to be said for their ability to serve something far better than RCS.

  There are many wonderful things to say about this establishment…great service, attentive management, delicious side dishes and a great atmosphere. The main reason I choose to dine at a high end steak house is for the quality of meat and that is where RC lacks. Out of a party of four, we all ordered a filet cooked medium or under and we had to practically bring out a saw to cut through the meat. Nice establishment but I have had better steaks elsewhere for a fraction of the cost.

  Above average. Went again to the Destin location. Service was exceptional but wish I could say this about the food. Steak was not up to the their standards. What I really get upset about are the wine prices. I expect to pay at least 2-2 1/2x above liquor store price but to pay 3x+ is exorbitant. I bit the bullet as it was anniversary and splurged. Had a gift card or I would have gone somewhere else as too many great restaurants in Destin to have mediocre food. probably won’t make that trip again- at least at this location.

  Amazing food!. This is in my top 3 restaurants ever! They have the best food and the best service! Unfortunately it is very expensive but for what you get, it is well worth it.

  Greasy experience and delicious food! I had lobster, and it was wonderful. The staff was super kind and helpful. We took our 3 and 1 year old, and they enjoyed it. I love that there will be people dressed very nice to casual. It shows southern hospitality.

  Really Good again. Third trip to a Ruths, second trip to this one. We had cocktails at the bar before dinner and were hoping to visit the outside bar but it was closed. I was surprised since it had been recently advertised and highly recommended on local radio as THE Place to watch a romantic sunset. So we had drinks at the dining room bar. Then our dinner of tuna app, steaks, and deserts, service were outstanding. The only negative was that there didn’t really seem to be a dress code for such a high end restaurant. We inquired about a dress code when making reservations, and was told it was resort casual, we understand it is a beach resort. Many folks like ourselves were dressed nicely for a fine and somewhat expensive dinner in a great place…and the beach bums seemed not to notice. Next expensive formal dinner we will try someplace else…hopefully the outside bar will open soon.

  Excellent steaks! Filet Oscar is to die for! Creme Brle is delightfully perfect. Definitely pricey, but you get what you pay for.
