We love the Shrimp Basket! Their fried pickles, shrimp tacos, and fish tacos are our normal staple items that we order here. SO delicious! And we love that their prices are so reasonable for seafood. We love Destin, but find several of the seafood places to be far overpriced for the quality of food. Not true at the Shrimp Basket. Love this place! 🙂 thisitalianfamily.wordpress.com
We had a great family dinner here after being on the beach all day. The service was phenomenal thanks to our server, Kelsey. Our two teenage boys loved the endless shrimp while our daughter enjoyed a grilled shrimp po-boy. My hubby and I had combo platters with catfish & blackened shrimp. The raw oysters were WONDERFUL!! I can’t recommend this place enough for a great family dinner at very reasonable prices; even straight off the beach. The Shrimp Basket is a very casual, come-as-you-are kind of place. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Destin.
AMAZING!!!! Excellent prices for the beach. Food and service were great. I had the fried whitefish basket. The fish was fresh, hot, and well seasoned. My dinner companion had the boom boom shrimp. She loved it. Another friend opted for fried pickles (wonderful!!! Just spicy enough) and cheese sticks which were also very good.
Great Experience. I’m a bit of a fried shrimp fiend (the first step is admitting you have a problem) and routinely travel to the coast, so I have had the opportunity to dine at quite a few Shrimp Baskets for the–surprise!–shrimp basket. I am willing to overlook a lot when it comes to my Epic Shrimp Quest, so when I go to these places my only expectation is good shrimp and I muscle my way through the terrible sides and sticky tables and whatever else..The Destin location was a wonderful surprise. The service was excellent, the server was attentive and courteous and the manager stopped by to check on us. The restaurant was clean and looked nice. This location had a much broader selection of sides than other locations I’ve visited, so I was able to wash the shrimp down with nice collard greens, as opposed to terrible frozen corn and new potatoes I’ve grown accustomed to. I’d highly recommend this location to Shrimp Basket fans, and even to folks that were unimpressed with other locations. It was our favorite meal on this particular trip.
Great service and good food. Boom boom shrimp tasted like the bang bang shrimp from bonefish. We got the popcorn shrimp basket. Enough for a really hungry person. Potato salad was really awesome as a side dish.

Good. Went here based on a friend’s recommendation and it was good. The potato salad and corn fritters were my favorite. I don’t eat fish or seafood, so I ordered the blacked chicken. It was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of blackening. My parents ordered the shrimp touffe and enjoyed it.
