Relaxing neighborhood Italian. Our hotel recommended Basilico, as a relaxing, attractive Italian restaurant with good food and attentive service. They were right on all counts. The menu features a wonderful selection of pastas, plus meat and seafood dishes, and some interesting appetizers. Add a nice selection of wines by the glass, a subdued white table cloth atmosphere, and friendly service, and this place is a winner.
Excellent option in Doral. I have been going to this place for a long time, they have an older location closer to the airport. I have only good things to say not only about the quality of the food but also their service is excellent. It is one of those places where the owner is always around and I think that is key to their good service.Their spaghetti bolognese is out of this world and also their fish plates are always fresh. It is not a cheap place but the quality of service and the food is well worth it.
Great experience. Had dinner there Saturday night, service exceptional, food delicious and entrees were ample…Atmosphere is just so cozy and enjoyed the experience thoroughly. The desserts were absolutely delicious–and homemade!
I was sincerely let down by the service. Great food, completely brat of a waiter. Our Latino server seemed more interested in joking around with his employees then serving us, we had to keep waving him over, and he wouldn’t come over to help. He would simply wave and make us wait a couple minutes. It was a big joke to us. What type of service? They couldn’t even get the checks right. And we were all empty on water while the employees were joking around and it took them 10 min to fill us up. The place wasn’t even close to full. Ughhh
Disappointing To say the least. We had a party of 14 and the manager and waiters couldnt even divide a check correctly. They gave us one check, everyone had something different.It took at least 15 minutes just to get acknowledge , another 10 min to get the menus and then the food took forever. The plates are minimal, the food looks and taste like they were from frozen dinner and it was expensive.First time and last. If you haven’t gone, don’t waste your time and money.
Price not right. Priced to high for the quality of the food or place. Nah.
