Awesome. This was a great experience! Food was fabulous!! We had the bone in ribeye & tenderloin, they were both great. The sauce they bring was heavenly and was good on the meat and I even put on my salad. We also splerged and had a dessert. The Chaja was a combination of cake, creama, caramel! yummy!
I had the mixed grill for lunch and it was perfect.
Showed up and the place was empty. Not sure why as it has fantastic steaks. The filet with mushrooms is legit. Maybe too legit. Great lunch place for business. Have business partners or need a place to discuss anything in a fast and friendly atmosphere? try don Davis Steakhouse, hidden in the South East corner of Doral. A business lunch per excellence spot in the area, Don Davis with its happy waitress dressed in black will offer you all the drinks that your difficult to please date or business partner will demand. The Food: If you like the best, and great flavors of grilled meats, you can be wrong. And the price is just below the rest in Miami. try the deserts or even a good wine. (Yes: Is OK to drink wine in an Uruguayan restaurant!). And finish with a nice Cortadito. Best hidden Steakhouse in Miami. Best prices too!
Funny Nights at ‘Karaoke Fridays’ at Don Davis Doral. Went with my wife and a couple of friends for the delicious Bife de Chorizo & Salads, for a different Dinner and found a Karaoke night at Don Davis Steakhouse in Doral. We were 4 and try to be aside, but when you are in the middle of the singing (Some families they even have their kids, and those kids were good!) you get carried by the silliness and passion that permeates every corner. I discover that my friends are very good 🙂 singers too!The Karaoke Jockey was so great and excellent singer too, and we end up dancing in the floor when most of the people already left at might-night.the meats were excellent and the salads: superb. (My wife is vegetarian!). After good cold- almost frozen beers (This is when you start thinking that you could be (Frank Sinatra!), we end up with great espresso coffees and after dinner drinks, like Curvosier and Anis las cadenas (Anis del Mono!) and Sambuca Romana! What a different and fun night. Service was very friendly and to the pint, and we really do not expend nothing, in comparison with the good and different time. Great place!31 Aug, 2010Whant something superb and delicious for lunch?. Try the Bife de Chorizo, salad and a good red wine, ad chimichurri from the house, and end up with an espresso. And the price and the service is the best. For my wife I irder a delicius salad, among the many in the lunch menu and a cchicken soup like no other in Miami. Recommending this place. Will return again.
Steakhouse at great prices in Doral. Ever lunch in Don Davis? It has a tradition that came from its former successor in that little corner of Doral. The executive lunch menu is superb! From the Parrillada to the Milanesa, to the Bife de Chorizo, including the parrillada Sausage on the grill or the world famous Uruguayan blood sausages. I tried the salads with the meat, but I usually eat a great vegetable soup or a chicken soup made fresh everyday. (Very different from a cuban chicken soup. delicious.) with a great ‘Bife de Chorizo’! Espresso coffe and service is great. Nice to discuss your business in a friendly and easy place with ample tables for your iPad…
