We just left Il Forno in Doral and had the greatest Valentine’s dinner! This was our first time here. My husband had the savory duck, and I had the delicious veal chop. We were delighted to have Yamileth as our waitress, she was extremely sweet and attentive. She made sure that our glasses didn’t run dry and made great suggestions when deciding on our appetizer, entree, and dessert. Yamileth’s superb service on this special night will stay in our memories and is yet another reason why we will return to this restaurant. Thank you Yamileth for making the night extra special for us, we will look for you next time we go!

Dinner experience. Good quality and authentic prepared to order Italian food. I had the linguine with seafood, the pasta and source were really good but for a $24 dish the seafood (clams, shrimp, squid and mussels) were of poor quality, small and few. The ambiance and service were good. First time for me and I will go again. Hope they look at this and make sure all dishes are prepared with attention.
Overpriced…poor service, and average meal quality
One of my favorites!. This is the second time my husband and I have been to Il Forno and again, it was delicious! I have read some negative reviews regarding the food from others for this restaurant – perhaps you would be better off at Olive Garden…. The food at this restaurant is AUTHENTIC Italian cuisine (dishes are amazingly just as tasty as those of the top restaurants I have been to in Italy). It is amazing that some people think they have such knowledge in true Italian cuisine, when they have absolutely no clue at all. As far as service – well, we had no issues fortunately, but then again – go take a trip to Italy and compare service there to here – maybe your attitude will change. As far as the valet — I am not a fan of valet unless it is necessary – it may be gratis, but the obligation to tip is still present and it isn’t necessary for this location…. If you love mushrooms, try the Pappardelle with mixed mushrooms and truffle – I cherished every bite (and it was a beautifully sized portion) – which I have to agree with the managers reply to the person who commented about portions – in Italy, it would have been substantially less. If you had any doubts about trying Il Forno, please, if it a chance and let your taste buds enjoy the journey!!!
If not the best in Doral, definetly top 2!. Excellent food, service and ambient.From the antipasto to the dessert, it is just a great experience!
Terrible food and overpriced. The minestrone soup tasted like water with vegetables. I would have rather eaten Campbell’s over that. The lasagna didnt even look like one. It barely had meat. The only thong going for the restaurants is it’s looks. Will not ever return again.
