No matter how you call it, pig pork, boar, the piglet in its most diverse cuts and baking is the king of this place located in Doral.Homemade food, good portions and reasonable prices. The best pork, in Miami, the best chicken soup in Miami and they start you off with a dose of pork chunks (rinds) that are awesome. On the weekends they roast a whole pig and the portions are huge! If you like pork this is the place you must go and eat at! You won’t regret it. I promise.
Great Latin Food. This place is great it’s like christmas all over again.
Menu was not correct. I went there on a Thursday with some co-workers and asked the non-English speaking waitress for the Famoso Lechon, and was told that it was not available. The menu states that it is available on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. I ended up eating the grilled pork, which was awesome anyway. The next time I go to Miami, I will try to schedule my flight to arrive on Sunday afternoon, so I can order the Famoso Lechon for supper. Just like many of the other restaurants in the area that I tried, the waitress never came over to refill our drinks. The food is good enough, that I will return in spite of the poor service.
Miami/Doral. This place is great latin food, Fantastic pan con lechon they add ground up cracklings in the sandwich. Hey they bring crispy pork skin to the table before you order or get your drink. Need I say more!
Customer Service. This morning I woke up craving lechon. Being from Puerto Rico and residing in Miami for know 5 years I always miss the way mom made pork.So I decide to walk into La Esquina del Lechon in Doral. The food was fantastic and plentiful. But was broken hearted with the lack of customer service. Out of the eight plus waitresses on duty this early afternoon two where really engaged on what was happening in their restaurant. Elena and the young lady in charge of the bar area save the afternoon lunch. These two ladies know what customer service is about making a connection with guests visiting. I saw them cater to anyone that came into the restaurant. I wish that the other staff take not of the good things that Elena and the young lady at the bar area do on a daily basis. Kudos two the food and Elena along with the lady at the bar. Restaurant Manager myself , this is something that I take very seriously if we don’t have customer enjoying and having a great experience our business fails. I know La Esquina del Lechon will get better on this. will be coming by next weekend and see if anything has changed?
