OMG. Well, I usually don’t do this but this time I think it is necessary. I have been to Mozzarella several times and the food is always very good. However, considering that it is a family owned business you would think that the service would be important to them. They are extremely slow, apathetic, regardless of how many times a customer asks for something. Also, if I am going to be charged extra for bread, I would appreciate receiving a piece for each. Not 3 pieces of bread for a table of six people.

For foodies by foodies. This unpretentious little place in a non-descript shopping center in Doral is a wonderful dining experience. They make just about everything they serve with careful attention to detail. And the staff are attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!!!

The best of the best restaurant in town. Mozzarella is a cozy restaurant attended by his owners. The food is deliciously home-made and healthy, elaborated with natural ingredients finely selected. His owners are the chefs and they offer to you his personal attention offering an excellent service in a very charming environment. Everything is delicious here.

A place for pleasurable eats.. I have eaten here a few times and always find it great. The slow cooked pork is world class and the Rosellas desserts are great. Go for the chocolate Tiramis. Great people great food.03 Dec, 2010Tiramsu, slow cooked pork and linguini with asado ragu. Rosellas traditional tiramis is super but you should try the special flavors she invents. Her apple crostata was great that last time I was there.Joe does a Slow Cooked Pork that is world class.

Heavenly.. Tonight for dinner I decided to try an unassuming little Italian place in a Doral strip mall. I was greeted warmly and presented with the evening’s menu, which included a few selections of meats, pastas, and a fish. Everything sounded delicious, but I decided to go with the braised short ribs and side of pasta. The short ribs were tender and flavorful, with a beautiful, rich, deep brown sauce that comes from slow cooking. The owner told me that they cook the short ribs for 12 hours, which provides that tenderness and flavor. Even though the menu had advertised a four-cheese fusilli pasta on the side, I think I got a better deal in that the owner served my fusilli topped with the sauce from the short ribs and topped with a little parmigiana. Simple, but sublime. Normally I’d feel gauche about using bread to dab up sauce, but in this case, I felt like it would be a worse sin to waste sauce that good. When was the last time you felt that way about a meal?Oh, I should add that the prices are incredibly reasonable. You’ll get out of there for no more than what you’d spend at Olive Garden, and for food that’s light years beyond in quality. What are you waiting for?

Mo Mozzarella’s!. Quaint little mom & pop Italian restaurant. A cozy little place that gets pretty crowded at lunchtime. The homey feel makes it OK to sit at the tiny little tables, I really didn’t mind. They have a daily menu, chef’s choice I suppose, you get a choice of dishes. We had the lasagna. It was soft & cheesy, a subtle delight, no overpowering spices. I could’ve certainly eaten another healthy slice. I’ll return to do more research.
