Best hash brown potatoes since I left the snowy climes. You have to admire the love that brenda and rose serve all the time!!!!!

Don’t Judge a Book by its Cover. I passed on Brenda’s for 3 years thinking that it looked a bit worn and tired. One day, we tried it when our favorite breakfast place (located far away) was closed. SURPRISE! Needless to say, Brenda’s instantly became our favorite place for breakfast ( and occasionally lunch). We have been eating there for 3 years on a regular basis. Brenda is great. The waitresses are super. Full of regular characters. Best price for breakfast and the best home cooked breakfast in Pinellas County. Dog friendly outdoor seating too! Remember, look past the decor and you too will be pleasantly surprised. AND, if you are looking to eat fast, then eat fast food- this is far from that!Sit back and enjoy the show!
My favorite breakfast in the Tampa Bay area. Not fancy, but everything is cooked just right. Blueberry pancakes packed with blueberries and perfectly crisped bacon every time. Rose comes to the table with coffee in hand, and remembers our usual order. It did happen once that there was a long wait for service, but only once and I have been there at least fifty times (Sundays swimming at Honeymoon Island). My only complaint – nondairy creamer instead of half-and-half.
Heavens help you…. ..if you are not interested in sitting there for up to 1.5hours for eggs and bacon. This place has sooo much promise, but the staff doesn’t a) care; b) move. I would say they sit and chit chat with the ‘regulars’ but I don’t even see that. Quite frankly not sure where the heck they go, (looked out back 1 time to see if they’re on a cig break, nope not there either). Oh well….
