Silly campy atmosphere. Waitstaff are genuine and do their best. Prices are decent -> main reason it’s popular. The food? Think mediocre being the high bar. Some dishes have big fat ‘merican proportions, and that’s about it. No butter, only margarine. Despite the mongo pancakes, no option for real maple syrup. Fresh fruit in/on pancakes or waffles aint gonna happen. Texas toast french toast was rhode island thin. Sausage links and bacon were some kind of cheap mass produced brand. If your breakfast taste is milque toast heavy on the processed side, help yourself. I’ll go somewhere else.
Went for breakfast on a Friday morning and was really disappointed. Heard the food was good but it was mediocre at best. The service was poor and VERY SLOW. They only accept cash but the only sign in the store is up at the register… don’t worry, they have an ATM that charges you the standard $2 so by the time you pay your bill you’ve spent as much as you would at any other breakfast joint for subpar food. Save your money.
