Delicious, authentic hole-in-the-wall. We went here on a recommendation and enjoyed a meal that reminded us of vacation in Italy. Low in ambience for the price (it’s in a strip mall), but it has a homey feel. Salad and bread to start were nothing special, but the assortment of appetizers and entrees were excellent. Having the proprietor bring items to the table and explain your options is an experience in itself. We chose steamed artichoke as an appetizer, then shared braised veal shank with brown sauce and homemade gnocchi, and seafood linguini with amaretto sauce and a very generous helping of various shellfish. Tiramisu was homestyle, very tasty. The wine list was short and by the glass, but I did see another table order a bottle. By-the-glass was a bit pricy, but the glasses were very generous pours 😉 Excellent, casual service and comfortable experience.I highly recommend making a reservation, as we heard that otherwise you can be turned away. I suspect that this is not due to lack of space, but might be part of how they plan their kitchen purchasing for a small-scale restaurant. Last comment, many of the other clients were chatting with Gaetano and were obviously Italian-American, which I think speaks to the quality/authenticity of the food.$120 for appetizer, two entrees, dessert and 4 glasses of wine. Well worth it.

Delicious but pricey. Stumbled across this place by accident- definitely would not have gone in based on it’s appearance alone, but I’m so glad I did. No menu, and it is on the expensive side- but very very worth it.

For the real foodies. Went here the first time almost by accident. Located behind a bad Chinese place! Fantastic food and service. Wife and I had veal, wine, appetizer and dessert. Had no idea what it would cost. Told my wife if it was less than $200 it would be a bargain. Total was under $100. Wow.Been back with friends, and they all rave about being able to get whatever you want made however you want it. All Agee it it a great value.Deserves more than 5 stars. Will open on Mondays for groups of 8 or more. Not for the pretensions, if you are put off by a simple ambiance, don’t go. But if great food and service are your thing, this is the place

I looove this place. It is pricey, and your dinner will take time. But it’s worth every penny and second. Everything is home made and delicious. It’s a nice homey atmosphere. He will never pack the place full and rush you. It’s not his style. There is no menu, the owner will come out, tell you what he has, and make suggestions. Last time I was there he offered a like 40 ounce steak. Insane. Seafood pasta or lobster ravioli with his amaretto sauce will blow your mind !If you call a day or so ahead, he’ll make carpaccio too!!! Something hard to find around here.Overall, I can’t say anything bad about this place. It will remain my favorite.

This place is a total joke. My family and I went here to eat and were told they couldn’t serve us because we didn’t make a reservation and they didn’t have enough help mind you only 4 tables out of the entire restaurant were occupied. Talk about losing business and horrible customer service, don’t waste your time.

Tonight was our first visit, we will be back. Food is fresh and made to order. No menus, they show you the cuts of meat and fish and tell you how it can be prepared. Great place.
