Homey Charm, but I Would Prefer a MenuSome friends were visiting from out of town so 6 of us met at this restaurant. The place looks very homey and you would expect it to be an inexpensive place with an emphasis on pasta. Instead, it is more pricey than usual and they focus on high-end proteins like grouper, rib-eye steaks, veal chops, etc.The squirrely thing is that there is no menu. Since they only show the high-end mains, you really dont know all the options. And you have to be a bit aggressive to ask prices for everything. The veal chop, for example was something like $38. And when we asked about wines, our server suggested one. When I asked, I discovered it was $90. That would have been a rude surprise when we got the check.The food was very good, but nothing transcendent. The best thing was probably the grouper piccata.Service was friendly.I would go again and I would ask lots more questions about what they have to offer. I guess they feel that there is a certain amount of charm in not having a menu. But I would have appreciated one.
