I am a regular customer, meaning not a week goes by that I don’t enjoy a meal at Our Place. I have been a customer for years and have yet to receive poor service or a bad meal. The atmosphere is delightful and the staff is friendly. I am amazed by some of the poor reviews, since I always see staff going out of their way to see that everyone is taken care of. The managers and the owners themselves provide table service when needed and are always watching to see that everyone is well taken care of. It is one of the finest restaurants in the area and has won several civic awards saying the same.

Horrible service. Waited over 25 minutes after ordering the special of the day…no one came to the table…so we left. I left a rating on their Facebook page. They responded and try to justify the nearly 30 minute wait (without any service) by saying the place was packed (two people in the lobby). What is really sad is that they found nothing wrong with their service, and attempted to make those that were ignored for a half hour as the bad guy. What type of restaurant does that?
Absolute pleasure dining here. Great people, great food, great ambiance, most affordable prices. My pot roast dinner was 9.95 and I still had left overs after eating to take home for another meal. Desserts were all made in-house and i had a sugar free chocolate cake which i was told as made with splenda but the taste was phenomenal. The owners were present and were very welcoming at the door. Parking is ample and the servers are most sincere. Will certainly be frequenting our place especially for family occasions.
Victor is so right on. Absolutely the worst service I have had in years. Don’t waste your time here, way to long to get your food, no one on site to complain to. Ridiculous. With all the other breakfast options in Dunedin don’t bother.
Prime Rib Dinner. Very tender
Great little spot!. My daughter and I popped in here for brunch on Friday. First off, the place is spotless. And I am one of those people who take a hard look at the cleanliness of an establishment before I will eat in it. I observed that under neath the counter was clean, every corner or possible place that could get missed was completely clean and spotless. So we sat down and ordered our breakfast. (And there were real roses on every table too, not fake plastic flowers….a nice touch.) Our server was very attentive and polite and we were very promptly served. I got my eggs and they were exactly over easy! Which is rare in Pinellas county. Most places I’ve been to do not quite grasp the concept of what over easy means. Our Place Dunedin definitely knows how to cook eggs. Mine were perfect. I like to butter my own toast. And I was pleased that my toast was served hot enough for me to butter it and the butter was able to melt as I did so. (Another plus) I got tomato slices instead of hash browns as I am not a big potato fan. They were also perfect, clearly from a beef steak tomato that was at it’s peak. I am an iced tea Nazi, so to speak, I am very finicky about my iced tea. I drink tea all the time, Not coffee. So I really know my tea. The tea I was served was freshly brewed and just the right strength. I ordered it sweet and it was pleasantly sweetened. Not syrupy like some places in the South. Perfect! We also always ask for iced water and the water was also very good. I don’t think it was merely tap water on ice. It certainly didn’t taste like tap water. My bacon was a wee bit on the well done side, but not bad. My sausage was perfect. And I also got a short stack cause I am a big eater in the morning. The pancakes were also good. I think they may have been home made, they didn’t taste like typical SYSCO foods out of the box garbage ya get in most places. And they were nice and fluffy. Yum! My daughter also got eggs and pancakes, she omitted the toast and went for the hash browns. She said all her food was great as well. The portions were huge and neither one of us could eat it all. Then I had to order a to go order for my husband who was working from the house Friday morning. I kind of thought eggs wouldn’t travel well so we ordered him the prime rib sandwich with home made fries. He was very happy with it. He said his prime rib was nice and juicy and really good! So good in fact he now wants to go to Our Place Dunedin along with us next time we go. This is always a bonus because he isn’t really a restaurant person, which is why I usually wind up getting him an order to go. And he’s even more picky than I am…. So if it passes muster with him. Must be golden!
