Party Time. Came in Saturday night with a few of my buddies…had an awesome time..even though the performer sang international music…we still had a blast…the belly dancing performance was fantastic…we had a variety of different appetizers which we enjoyed very much…after the food we got a few hookahs that were packed up with a variety of full flavored tobaccos to our choice… We met lots of great people that night and deff. will be coming back…And to all u untalented ego-maniacs spending an hour of your day talking down on this place…I have no idea if you guys came to the same place I did, but I sure had me a phenomenal time with excellent food and great service. THANK YOU for showing us a great time and experiencing healthy food and getting to know a different culture.
LOVED IT :}. I went there with my family for lunch and for dinner. I LOVED IT. the staff are very friendly, the owner came and met us, the food was outstanding and fresh with true Lebanese flavor. they have hookas, and a very delightful outside patio. Prices are very reasonable. Me personally, I will deff be back with more of my friends, and more of my family members. BOTTOM LINE: THIS PLACE IS AMAZING -;}
Excellent food. I highly recommend Prestige, my favorite are the appetizers they are very fresh and healthy hummus is freshly made so is the baba ghanouj they also carry HALAL MEAT wish is a big credit for doing that not many restaurant in the Tampa Bay area does. They’re parties are great a family atmosphere with international DJ and singers and well trained belly dancers. Will go back in heart beat and everytime i do ,always have an awesome time, will recommend 7 stars
Food was mostly terrible. Sadly, the food was terrible except for the baba ghanoush. I am Lebanese and the other 3 guests with me are all knowledgeable about Lebanese food but unfortunately the chef / owners of Prestige do not have a clue. We four were the ONLY diners on a Friday night and we had to walk thru a sea of staff cigarette smoke to get in; that should have been our first warning sign. We ordered Mezze (appetizers), all very pricey: The meat pies were dried out and burned, the kibbee balls reheated or just cooked to oblivion, the Mekanik sausages tasted like something out of a can with a strange pink seasoning that left a very bad after taste, the foul consisted of less than a dozen fava beans. Nothing was garnished other than being plopped on unwashed cut romaine lettuce with one tiny chunk of tomato – no sauces, no turnips, no lebneh, no nothing. We also foolishly ordered wraps, one of which contained a truly weird sweet & sour sauce which is not found in Lebanese cooking. The waiter gave himself an extremely generous tip after deducting the Restaurant.com coupon and then added sales tax to the tip total resulting in an additional cost of $1.49, a trivial amount but we still got cheated not only out of money but out of good food. This was a horrible experience and we drove 47 miles to get there. Why bother to open a restaurant when you cannot provide a decent product especially when the business is new. One person tells 10 who each then tells 10 more. If your food is not good on a particular night then suggest the guest order something else or just don’t charge them. No one wants to pay nearly $6 for four tiny meat pies (sfiha) that were so dry they crumbled or icy cold Syrian bread or 12 fava beans out of can with cut up lemon on them. This was a disgrace and certainly not the norm for Lebanese people.So please, Mr. or Mrs. Restaurant Owner, don’t write a rebuttal disguised a review like you did for the Cable Guy. And don’t get your friends to write reviews referencing prices that do not remotely exist on your menu. And don’t offer entrees without providing rice and a little salad with them. And please, do not sit by the front door of your restaurant and blow smoke in the faces of your potential guests.
Mike the cableman. Can;t say much but……. everyone is entitled to their opinion especially when it comes to food.I apologized you had a bad experience with us, and if u give us the opportunity to serve you, we will be more than happy to make it up to you.
Not impressed. First time there. Ordered 6 appetizers. You can tell a lot about a place just from the app’sLiked the hummas, but how can you screw that up. Spinach salad had shrimp from 2 days ago. Tough. 4 apps, grape leaves, felafel, Prestige shrimp, garlic fries, and spinach pie. Ok, I’m not a food critic but i am Lebanese. These were straight out of the frozen food section at Public’s. Now if your charging $7-8.00 for an app you might want to put some effort into it.On a lighter note. The staff was great. Owner met us and that along was impressive. Clean establishment. This place has only been open for 5 weeks now but has potential. Prestige, if you are reading this please address this. Your public only wants you to succeed.
GREAT experience!!! GREAT food!!! OUTSTANDING prices!!!. Whilst visiting some friends in the Tampa area we found Prestige Lebanese Cuisine in Dunedin. We were the only people in the restaurant which was a little eerie but the service was spot on and the food was amazing and enjoyed by EVERYONE (including a very picky eater!)!!!After we were seated we were given a pickled plate of carrots, cabbage, cucumbers, and peppers. WOW were they tasty! Vinegary and firm!We started with a Shrimp Appetizer and Stuffed Grape Leaves. I’m a vegetarian, but my two friends RAVED about the Shrimp! One of my friends and I enjoyed the stuffed grape leaves. They were on the cold starters menu, but arrived warm. They were still good! We also got the Baba Ghannouge with Pita Bread. Let me just say that the aubergine was PERFECTLY roasted before becoming the Baba Ghannouge! WOW! It was an explosion of Lebanon’s flavours! The best Baba Ghannouge I’ve had in many years!!!Next came our entrees. A little disappointing that there are no vegetarian options for entrees, but they did offer falafel, which is what I had. They didn’t use cilantro in the falafel, which was my only complaint. They were crisp on the outside, and firm yet still soft on the inside, wrapped in a pita pocket. It was served with a Tahini Dip that was seasoned just right. It was a small portion, so if you enjoy Tahini ask for a double! 🙂 It was served with a pickle assortment similar to the plate which was first offered to us with our menus.My friend had a falafel as well, which we easily could have shared one order, and she equally enjoyed hers. My other friend (the picky eater) had the Filet Mignon which was served on a bed of rice and red onion salad. He didn’t like the red onion salad, but mentioned that they didn’t ask how he wanted his steak but cooked it to his liking, medium well. The service was amazing as well. The waiter appeared to know when we needed a refill as he always appeared around the corner with a jug of water!The prices …. OUTSTANDING!!!! I can’t recall the exact prices, but someone could easily eat here for less than $10!!!We were given Lebanese Baklava at the end of our meal on the house!! It was dense, unlike baklava that I’ve had before, like a corn cake but the flavour of roasted pistachios and honey rang through!We had a great time and great food, thanks to Prestige!
