Best Cuban sandwich ever!! Every time I am traveling through Tampa, I plan a meal at Brocato’s. Plantains, yellow rice with black beans, deviled crab and empanadas are all outstanding. Knowing you are eating at a place that has stayed true to its roots is phenomenal as well!.
First stop when we flew into Tampa. First time there. It is a destination, you will not happen upon the place just walking around town. Seeing all the cars coming in and out told me it was good. Sitting down and eating a Cuban and stuffed crab was a treat. A great place and I will be back if I return to Tampa.
Anytime I’m in Tampa this is my favorite stop for stuffed potatoes or deviled crab. Best sandwiches too. Price includes drink (fountain or can even beer) and chips. Chicken and yellow rice so yummy.
I love this place! The have the best sandwiches, stuffed potatoes and deviled crabs I’ve ever had in my life. I stay up in here!!! I go there on my lunch breaks. Call ahead if you don’t feel like waiting. If you do wait it’s a very nice place to sit down and eat inside or out.
Very good food but it takes at least an hour to get one sandwich meat and bread on the sandwich are to die for but it’s pretty sloppy/greasy.
Generous portions, great ingredients and a fun atmosphere. The Cuban was high quality, but the roasted pork was a little bland. Be sure you have time if you go, this place is going to be packed.
You know a restaurant is good when they’ve been around for longer than you’ve been alive, and Brocato’s is a perfect example. While any sandwich besides the Cuban may be a little expensive, the portions are surprisingly large and you definitely will get a top quality, good old fashioned sandwich. The only downside is the long wait, but that’s only because it’s usually crowded. It’s really great to see a place like Brocato’s stay in business for so long and still produce fantastic food for their loyal customers. Delicious food, great staff, great atmosphere.
