Breakfast tastes like revenge. In other words, the cooks and wait staff apparently think breakfast a dish best served cold. Saturday morning, told it is buffet only, $12 per person. Food was bland, tepid at best, and… Sit down for this… No waffles. $48 and my family and I left feeling that we’d been ripped off and poorly fed.
Just had my fourth meal in two days here and couldn’t be happier. First, the food is very well place for a hotel restaurant, I actually thought it would be more. Second, for us seasoned well. Not over or under for the dish but just right. Third, it taste good. I am already planning my dinner for today and lunch to go tomorrow. I highly recommend!!
Just the opposite. Of rustic, it’s quite the citified decor and atmophere. First we had appetizers at the lobby bar, but they came out of the Rustic. The chicken tenders were very plain, but the shrimp scampi was terrific. It came as 4 large shrimp covered with melted mozzarella and a light sauce. Shrimp were very tasty and they were very generous with the cheese.We returned the next morning for the breakfast buffet. It was adequate. The scrambled eggs were nice and moist. The potatoes were sliced thin and served with peppers. The bacon was ordinary. Service in the restaurant was excellent, the lobby bar a bit of a lag as there was only the bartender taking all orders.
