First time in a while going out for Sushi, the last time my wife and I had it was at home using the best ingredients, totaling about $30.00 and we had sushi for days. Now about tonight, a big wooden boat, a bowl made of ice, cheep vegetables abounded. Ah, what about the fish? There were different colors, sizes, species but all had the same taste….what ever you dipped them in. The color, texture and flavor was all wrong, awful just soft and bland. You are definitely not getting what you pay for. After dinner and tip we walked out with a $68.00 tab for rice, a salad and faux fish. Do yourself a favor and YouTube homemade sushi and make it yourself!
Something changed. I thought that the last time I went, a week ago, the portions were very small. A tiny amount of tuna in the tuna roll. My date noticed a change as well. Time for us to explore elsewhere or stick to Thai Thai II.
Panang curry is unique and outstanding – equal to the best I’ve ever eaten. Dragon and spider rolls are top shelf! Good stuff, Maynard!
The food here is consistently good. Average environment. Staff is wonderfully friendly.
Best Sushi in Brevard, hands down.. I’ve eaten sushi all over the country, including NY & LA (which are the meccas for great sushi). Siam Orchid takes the cake for Brevard by far. Thai Thai is close, but not close enough.
Not like it was. Not sure what happened here other than a sign of the times. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still good but now costs more for less. Others agree.
The sushi is fairly good and the banana tempura is to DIE! for.
