Highly Ignored Customers. Our family used to be regulars there, maybe once a month or more, for breakfast. Then inexplicably about 6 months ago the service got worse with each visit. The final visit was an early morning weekend visit. Being polite and otherwise in a good mood we held the door open and waited for a couple that was coming up behind us. When we stepped inside the hostess carried on a conversation some with a customer who was clearly trying to leave. Then she sat the couple we let in before us. She talked to them, went and got them drinks, talk to them some more, got an initial order, and started bringing them more stuff. After which she went to the back again and looked to wonder a bit. Never to return to the front. In the mean time another waitress (whom we have seen before as a senior waitress) stood nearby the entrance and was adding up receipts and/or her earnings with a calculator, only occasionally glancing our way when we talked quietly amongst ourselves about the apparent inattention and our growing frustration (ex: Should we try another place or Do you think she forgot us). The place was 14 its occupancy at best and not once did anyone of the staff acknowledge that we were standing there for close to 10 min. It was only once we had enough, turned around and the last person was about to step out that the waitress turned accountant shouted a halfhearted or sarcastic, Have a nice day! Her trite remark confirmed she was aware of us, leaving at that, and by her tone I would suspect she was also aware of our discontent. Yet she thought it was acceptable to be unconcerned, arrogant, and spiteful. All we would have required is, Someone will be with you. If the hostess can mingle and get drinks then the accountant could have at least sat us. I hope she realizes her accounting work just got easier as there will be less receipts with our name or those we associate with on them.
Very good!. Kids have fun playing the claw game and the food is very good.
This is my 2nd time stopping in, my 1st time ever walking out of any restaurant. After waiting 20-25 minutes for just a drink order and servers passing by without asking if we were helped at all, my guests and i walked out. It was moderately busy but the servers didnt exactly go out of their way (out of their sections) to check up on new customers and see if they need anything. Food was fantastic the first time around but the service was left to be desired.
Everything great about this place! The food is amazing, the price is unbelievable, the staff is very friendly & attentive & the atmosphere is relaxing!!! Stop missing out & try it! 🙂
I’ve recently discovered this jewel and can’t find enough good things to say. The atmosphere is nice, and the seating is comfortable. The menu offers a nice variety of choices and everything I’ve tried so far is delicious. I had the lobster quiche with fresh fruit this past weekend and it was super good!! The wait staff is very friendly and attentive and the prices are very reasonable especially considering the generous portions. I’ll take pictures on my next visit because i’ll definitely be going back. Give this place a chance, you won’t be sorry.
