Came for the coffee, stayed for the everything. Unlimited coffee refills aside, the employees, the service, the food and the atmosphere are pretty amazing for the area. Family run, The Bald Strawberry feels like your flannel jacket wearing friend’s tricked-out green room, with a variety of music playing, different genres of movies and shows playing on the flat screen, and the occasional little knickknack thrown in from time to time. Servers and owners are extremely accommodating, and are more than happy to chat (for a bit, gotta work). Most everything served inside is gluten/egg/dairy free, yet the recipes–from the bakery to the signature waffle sandwiches–are amazingly tasty and still maintain a great texture. My only complaint is that they aren’t open for nearly long enough during the day, so you have to plan accordingly.Swinging by today, make me a seat.
