I have always had a good time here. The food is great, my favourite are the flatbreads and tacos. My favourite part about this place is the live music that they have every night.
Cool Vibe but the food was lacking. The queso tasted like glue and was just gross. I had the mahi sandwich and it was a just pretty boring. As was the BBQ burger my boyfriend had. I don’t know.. I really liked the atmosphere and I liked that they had a bunch of games to play as well. They give you a jar of pickles I really don’t know what the purpose of it is. It was random but they were good and I think homemade. I put. Bunch on my sandwich to liven it up.
Customer service is lacking.. I came in with my girlfriend yesterday for the first time but ended up leaving before we even ordered. Neither of us are very picky but we both got a weird vibe.To start off, there wasn’t a hostess at front door so after a few minutes of waiting, we guessed that it was open seating and started looking around. Not an issue, some places are casual like that. Most of the high tops had reserved signs on them so we found a clean one without and sat down. A server came up soon after and immediately told us there was a large party who had reserved the high tops in that section. We started to get up thinking that we accidentally took a reserved table but she said we might be okay.. but to know that there was a large group nearby. Okay? Large and small groups have been known to occupy the same restaurants. We have both worked in the service industry too and couldn’t understand why a server would want to tell us this (multiple times) other than to give the impression that we should find another table. She didn’t offer to seat us somewhere else and we were getting an uncomfortable vibe so we decided to leave. We ended up at East Coast Wings up the street and had some excellent beer and wings!If seating is going to be a problem, either: 1) Show people where they can sit without making them feel uncomfortable about it.. or 2) Have a host or hostess at the front door. The place looked like fun other than that so it’s a shame we couldn’t stay!
Great!. My family and I had heard about this place and knew we just had to try it. We were very happy; two bacon and jam burgers and the Taco Mama taco’s….YUM! The music was excellent and the staff was very friendly; we will definitely be back! 🙂
Fantastic!. This place is hopping! Went last night with a group of seven. I didn’t know they took reservations or I would have called ahead. But the servers quickly put tables together for us and had us seated within five minutes. The music was loud, but not too loud. We were offered a big jug of their beer, which was very good, and very reasonably priced at $10. We all got different meals and they were all great. I had the jerk chicken tacos, which were messy but oh, so good! I would have preferred a little more jerk seasoning, but that’s just me. I love spicy and highly flavored food, more so than the average person. My daughters had the bacon jam burgers, which they described as heavenly. The bacon jam was excellent (I snuck a taste). They really should bottle that and sell it. All in all, a very fun evening. Can’t wait to go back!
Awesome!. I drive by this place daily and there’s always a crowd. My partner and I stopped by last weekend and couldn’t find a parking spot – which told us it would be a great place to eat. We were right! The staff was great, the atmosphere is great, and the food was amazing. You must have the fried pickles. We will definitely be back very often and very soon!
Great experience – Fabulous Food. Visited this new place on Saturday around 5:00 P.M. I must give my KUDOS to the owners and staff for the unique transformation of this previously failing location. We had five in our group, including our two grandsons, 6 and 8. They enjoyed the burger with the egg (how unique!), I had the veggie burger (one of the best I’ve ever enjoyed), my hubby had the egg burger too (loved it), and my daughter had the Mexican bowl (said it was fantastic). The kids enjoyed playing on the swan outside, and we enjoyed a bit of the races on TV. Prices are reasonable, food is fantastic (our compliments to the chef), and ambiance is great, although a bit loud. My only suggestion would be that they supply something for the kids to do (like coloring pages, etc.) so they don’t get too bored waiting for the food. Congrats to all of you!
