I’m a huge fan of the buffet. From the house made hummus to the fresh falafel brought to your table, I have never not enjoyed a meal there.

Did not like. I had lunch buffet at Hala today. Being a vegetarian, I felt the place abhorring & may never return here: * Items are kept without proper labelling. * I took some stuffed breads kept under the label Spinach Pie, which turned out to be meat pie. wow! They have kept everything mixed up in one basket. Pretty lousy way of conducting buffet. * The lady who served me did apologise once, but was stoic in her response. * Food options were limited for a vegetarian, but okay. * I liked that they have baklava for dessert.

Well a friend and I went here today. We were very disappointed. The service was horrible (no other way to put it). The waitress stood, staring into space- instead of refilling our drinks :(It was practically empty at lunchtime, perhaps that should have been a clue for us… Wanted to give the place a chance. But our business didn’t seem to be welcome here, so we won’t be back.

Amazing!. Two words…FOUL MEDAMAS. OMG. SO GOOD. It has such a rich olivey flavor and it is drenched in olive oil. reminds me of how my dad fixes black eyed peas. Its like the cheapest thing on their menu but I think it is my favorite! I like making a little pita pocket with tabouli in it….yum. Heaven. And speaking of tabouli, theirs isnt bad. Ive been to many mid east restaurants in jax, I judge them by their tabouli. Hala nails it every time.
