One of the best. I’ve been to this place a few times with my family since we’ve moved here in November 2014. This is one of my absolutely favorite spots in the area. They have a huge pit sitting out front cooking all the beautiful meats for the day. So when you drive passed with your windows down, or up, it doesn’t make a difference, the aromatherapy will make its way through the vents of your car. As i was saying… As you drive passed the small shack you will smell the meat being smoked to perfection. The smell will make you turn around in the middle of the street. It’s a very family oriented atmosphere and they also offer military discount and kids eat free when adults order a plate or platter meal. TWO THUMBS UP!!!21 Jan, 2015Combo Platter. Awesome. First visit but won’t be back. Not worth the drive across town. I had the brisket sandwich, which they brought out & it was soaked in BBQ sauce& cold fries. They should let individual put their own sauce on. Not everyone likes their sandwich dropping in sauce. The sauce was not even good. They did remake my sandwich but it was loaded with the heavy burnt bark. Other members of my party didn’t care for their meals either. Said the sausage was horrible , & the other meats were greasy. Good thing we had a 1/2 price coupon. Would have been very disappointed if I had paid full price. Not anything like good ole TEXAS BBQ!
Beef Brisket. Had the mixed platter of beef brisket and pork. Sauce was great but the bark on the brisket was heaven

LOVED IT!. I finally stopped by after passing it many times. I got a family special and some of brisket. The meat had a wonderful smokey flavor. The brisket was very tender. The sides were very good as well. The cashier was helpful. The other waitress were friendly. It gave off a small town restaurant. I will be back.
Brisket Sandwich. This was my first time here and it was horrible. I ordered a brisket sandwich with beans to go and when I got home the brisket was sooooo tough and none of the hard fat was even cut off, I mean really tough. I’ve eaten cheap pieces of meat before that tasted better and are not as tough. I’ve been wanting to try this place since they opened and am so disappointed, 8 bucks for 2 pieces of Texas toast and a tiny little thing of beans, which by the way were good, was too tired to drive back but my dog liked the meat, she even had a hard time chewing meat which says a lot cause she usually takes 1 bite and swallows.
Average at best. Sides seem store bought. Bones fragments in pulled pork. Best thing about the meal was the BBQ sauce.
