This place! Had breakfast here with a couple of new friends. The banana pancakes were delicious. Went back for dinner with my husband. He had the fish tacos and I had the fish sandwich; both were so so good. But what was amazing were the sweet potato fries! The server accidentally brought some with my husband’s food, so I ate all of mine and most of his. The only reason that I didn’t finish them was because I was so incredibly full! The views of the gulf and pier aren’t bad either, if you like that kind of thing.
I had been told by a friend that I needed to give this place a try, so on Tuesday night when we went to the Bands on the Beach, we stopped in before the concert to grab a quick bite to eat. First let me say that this is first and foremost a beach bar that serves up sandwiches, salads, fish tacos etc. It is not a full service restaurant, The service was above average, the view of the Gulf is great, the food is not spectacular, but it is pretty good. I had the fish tacos and my wife had the grouper sandwich. Both were very good, with the grouper sandwich maybe getting the edge. The sides were regular fries and sweet potato fries, and here the sweet potato fries get the edge. It is an open bar with seating both inside and outside on the beach area. The prices are pretty much in line with the other places on the beach. It is located next to the entrance to the fish pier, so it is really easy to find. It is good enough that we will be back again.
Best food in Pensacola Beach! And you can’t beat the atmosphere. Al fresco dining on the Gulf of Mexico. My favorite place to take visitors to show off our beautiful beach and enjoy tasty food and drinks. The fish tacos are done correctly – properly prepared fish tacos are hard to find outside of Mexico and California. Ceviche is fresh and tasty. About time someone served seafood on the beach that isn’t all fried!
This is a terrific spot for a sunny day, and the servers were very accommodating. The burger had some minor issues with consistent proportions to the bun, but was carefully prepared. The rest of the menu looks worth exploring.
Awesome food, Awesome location, and top notch service!! Ask for Chase as your waiter he was very helpful knowledgeable about the food and drinks. We will most definitely be back for more.
