I am guessing most of these reviews are written by the owner and friends since no one talked about the insane high prices. A sundae is 8 dollars. A small sundae is 5 and it is so small you could eat it in 2 to 3 bits. The quality is a little below basking robins. You would think if u pay 8 for a ice cream you would at least get a good spoon to eat it, but no, the spoon was so cheap and would bend so much, I finally just gave up and left.
It isn’t what you would expect from what looks to be a corporate store in a strip mall. Hersheys is a little cafe owned by a wonderful young couple. While their menu may be simple, their taste is anything but. My personal favorite is the corn and crawfish bisque. It has a rich complex flavor the rivals that of some of the high-end restaurants I’ve eaten at. When I spoke to Chase the owner about it he sad it is truly 100% homemade using fresh ingredients even down to the imported saffron.Anyone looking for pretty good home style comfort food should most definitely try out Hershey’s ice cream parlor.
The very best soups and sandwiches!. I cannot say enough about the good soups and sandwiches served here. They are all delicious and they have something for everyone’s taste. The hamburgers are very good and can be prepared the way you like one. The soups are made from scratch and you can taste the love and care that goes into making each one.The owners are wonderful people. They make you feel at home and go overboard to make your dining experience a pleasure.The ice cream is an added treat!
Decent place, similar to a Baskin Robins, nothing to call home about. Service was great, nice people.
The BEST mint chocolate chip ice cream EVER! We went 2 days in a row while on vacation. Seems to be a fav of the locals too. Had great hot dogs also!
Try their homemade soups and sandwiches. They are the best in town and are a complete surprise for an ice cream shop.
My husband and and I stop here for sandwiches at lunchtime. It’s location is convenient to NAS Pensacola’s back gate. I enjoy the chicken salad! And of course the ice cream is always great!
