Do NOT go to this place.. this place will sell you food that’s been sitting around for weeks in the fridge. The chicken is black as night with a sour taste. And if you order a hamburger from them it’s blood red in the middle (not cooked all the way through) this place should be closed down!!
Not as good as it used to be but it basically tastes the same! It’s different than most Mexican restaurants but good in its own way! No white cheese dip here! Taco house and Miguel’s are very similar!
Disappointed. My son and I thought we would try something new and we could not of been more disappointed. Honestly Taco Bell would have been better. I guess we will just stick to Valartas and Cactus Flower. Taco House just can not compare.
Barbacoa quesadilla. The flavor on this thing was incredible! The portion was also generous. Not the nicest part of town, but the restaurant was cute inside with murals on most of the walls. ohfoodbaby.blogspot.com
I did not see the tacos in the menu..there’s a picture but no mention of it and the price. The menu looks like its more of Japanese place (sushi e.g.) than a taco place …that’s what’s showing here!
Pensacola Old Taco House Revisited!. Dined at the Davis Hwy location in the early 80’s while attending UWF. Last visited back in 92′. Well……In town so went again tonight (21 years later) and tried the #2 combo. Price not too bad and still holds to original on enchilada sauce, verde sauce, and tamales. Brought me back 30 years……I’ve traveled the world since college and now realize this place has a few unique flavors of its own despite dining on some of the best Mexican fare available in SW Texas and New Mexico. Not too bad for a local joint and it holds special memories to me. Still the best red sauce anywhere!
Taco House will be always be better than any mexican restaurant in town, I have tried Vallartas in Hwy. 29 and their food is worthless
