I honestly don’t see how they got such a good rating. I ordered the fried shrimp and it had NO seasoning what- so- ever, if it wasn’t for the tartar sauce I probably would of thrown them away. The cheese grits were just as bad! The best thing there was the sweet tea, tartar sauce & fried okra. Sorry but if want seafood with some flavor just go to Chet’s in Pace.
I got the oyster platter and it was truly unbelievable. I have never had oysters so large. The gumbo and hush puppies were grand as well. It was savory and succulent, bold, but not overpowering. And on top of that it was cheap! Check this place out for a great meal!
Awesome Fried Seafood. I have eaten here many times with both friends and family and the Staff at Gulf Coast Seafood Restaurant has always served the best fried seafood in Pensacola. The Restaurant atmosphere is Christian and friendly and very old time Pensacola so perfect for me. I usually order the Fried Grouper Platter with Baked Beans and Cole Slaw. The food is the BEST fried seafood anywhere locally. Fresh, light batter, and Southern Style sides. Reasonably priced and you get your money’s worth.
Great Food!! Great Service!!. I have had the opertunity to eat, at the Gulf Coast Seafood Platter. I really enjoy the atmosphere, but it was hard to find at first, but the food made up for that. To comment on the previous person, I had no problem with my sides, everything was great.. Im from Louisiana and its just like what we have there great food!! I will be a frequent customer.
