Service was phenomenal! Seriously, they have an awesome staff! However, we found the food to be rather meh. Seems like a popular place for locals to gather, but not where Id want to go for dinner on vacation. Also, just a word of warning, 90% of the menu is fried. Not our cup of tea, but probably great if you enjoy fried fish!
This place has been around for years, but we never seem to make it out that far to try it out. That changed on Friday night, as we found out what we had been missing. The food was very good. I had the special, Grouper Louisane, which was excellent, and my wife had the two item plate with Gulf Shrimp and Grouper that was grilled. Very good also, but a little word of warning here. My wife will normally opt for the small or regular sized meals, so did the same here by ordering the small plate. It was really a childs plate, not a small plate, as it had only threee shrimp and a small piece of grouper. Luckily, my meal was very large, so we shared my meal and that worked out OK. The service here was good, but as can be expected, a place that has been open for this long will have an older wait staff than you will find on one of the beach restaurants. This place may not be the best seafood around, but it is definately very good and worth the trip, We do plan to return in the future,
