We live on the island and go out for coffee 3 or 4 times a week. We thought we’d try the the shop downtown for a change. They weren’t very busy on a Sunday morning. The girl at the counter was talking to a customer at the counter when we arrived. Four minutes later, they were still chitchatting, and the girl showed no sign of waiting on us. We’ll never know how the coffee/food is, I guess. Back to Great Harvest Bread Co for us…
Puts Starbucks to Shame. My daughter and I stopped in for dessert after dinner and we had some delicious chocolate cheesecake and I also had a cappucino, which was perfect. I really loved the decor.
Excellent. Great gelato, I had the triple chocolate and wife had the tiramisu. Both were excellent, nice inside and much easier than fighting the crowds at the other places.
Yummy!. Gelato was heavenly, especially the Capuccino Hazelnut!. Espresso was just right.
People are so nice!. I am not a coffee drinker but have used this spot for a business meeting with a client or two and the staff/owners are so friendly and accomodating.
Almond Joy Cake. Freshly created this cake was gone in 2 days. Also very good is the Coconut Cake08 Jan, 2011New Menu. Great items on menu! Chicken pot pie, shepherd’s pie, lasagna in addition to great sandwiches. My favorite lately in the homemade soups served with bagel chips. Today it was Minestrone, yum
