Not a return customer. My meal was shrimp and scallops……the shrimp were not much bigger than pop corn shrimp [all eleven]…the scallops was not whole scallops , they were like ground up something and then shaped to a round look a like scallop…no problem with the service all for 10.99

Reinvented Dennys. Staying in a hotel across the street. Went there after reading reviews. First thing we smelled was fried food. Saw food coming out and everything was fried. Asked the waitress if we had a choice, YES, broiled, blackened or fried. That made us happy but not for long. I had broiled oysters and grouper. No flavor and I have a suspicion that the oysters were canned. Also ordered baby Lima beans on the side. Menu did not say the came with pork (I don’t eat meat). The waitress was very accommodating and recommended the okra and tomatoes(best thing I ate). Hubby had scallops, shrimp and flounder. Again green beans come with bacon, not on menu. Bottom line, waitress was great food was not. If you are looking for local flavor filled food this is not the place.

Cedar River is NOT for pretentious ass hats. If you are looking for a decent southern style seafood meal for a reasonable price you won’t be disappointed.

This place is crowded with locals, but it must be because of their emphasis on quantity vs quality. Little ambience and the food was adequate at best. Not a place for a nice vacation dinner.

Over priced freezer section seafood!!! Waiter told us that nothing they had was local seafood, including the shrimp! Come on, this is the place that the shrimp industry started. If you want the real deal, go to Singleton’s 20 minutes south…cheaper and a thousand times better for sure!!!!!!
