TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The cheese steak came to the table dumped in the bottom of the basket with grease soaked bread on the side. When the waitress finally came back to our table to deliver the check, I told her the food was awful, she laughed and said it looked awful. When I told her I was seriously not satisfied (as should have been obvious by most of the food being left in the basket) she gave a pathetic apology and said she would take 10% off the check. To be fair my husband said his burger was pretty good, and I enjoyed the chocolate malt, but not enough to try this terrible place again.

Very good!. I have enjoyed two excellent breakfasts at Doo Wop recently. Food is well cooked, reasonably priced and servers are prompt and courteous. Might be the best breakfast option on the island.
Not good. Have tried it a couple times. Basically children running the place. Several Empty tables that not been cleared. Which looks bad. And to top it off the food was over priced and HORRIBLE! BASICALLY IT WOULD BEEN BETTER FLUSHING 30 BUCKS Down THE TOILET.
Best breakfast in town. We frequent the Doo Wop Diner for breakfast and it is always busy and the staff is so accommodating. Their eggs are the best. I have picked friends and family up from the airport in the mornings and the first place we go is Doo Wop. Everyone loves it. They especially love the 50’s dcor.We recently went to a 65th Birthday Party at Doo Wop. The place was very clean and the servers were sweethearts. They were so accommodating. We felt like they were family. Elvis was there to make things even more fun!!!Thank you to the staff for all you did to make the night perfect for the Birthday Boy and his family & friends.
Best Breakfast on Amelia Island. I am shocked to see what some people have written here. Many of us who live on Amelia Island eat breakfast and lunch here regularly. The place is always crowded and I have never once heard any complaints. There was a time when service was a bit slow, it was a while back. I am wondering if the person responsible for the slow service was fired, and has encouraged or written the nasty things I see written here. I just had a private party at Doo Wop. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the owner couldn’t have been nicer or more accomodating. The same is true of the help. I have been in this diner at least two dozen or so times,and have never heard anyone being rude or loud or disgruntled.
Liked the atmosphere, but it ended there! $2.00 charge to split a sandwich? Not sure what thats about.
