Authentic Spain. The Tapas was amazing and we had a chance to see and hear The reaction of others to their various different paella. We had a pitcher of Sangria and ate al fresco in their garden. Very proper staff, friendly and extremely attentive. Very fair price for such high quality food chilltravelers.com
Fabulous dining experience. Authentic flavored. Great ambience and excellent service. I recommend getting reservations as it is small and delicious. Romantic dining adventure!
Braised short rib empanadas were fantastic. My first time trying paella and I loved it. Wife had the garlic shrimp. Outstanding. Son had the tenderloin and it was a fantastic piece of meat. Must try if vacationing in the area. Make a reservation.
You can’t go wrong with eating here. It is always fresh and cooked perfectly… The spicy grouper is my favorite. The scallops are the best I’ve ever had. Reservations are a must in summer.
This is the second Spanish place I’ve tried at Amelia island and id have to say it was a great experience . Besides my main course the tapas that were served are amazing and really touches your deep tasting buds . Its an amazing cozy restaurant with an elegant touch . Service was superb and prices are well addressed. Make sure to try this place once you’re around .
We ate there last night. The empanadas (tapas special) were amazing. The sangria was ok. The grouper special was ok. The spicy grouper was good. The seafood paella was good but not outstanding. My benchmark for restaurants is whether it’s better than what I can make at home. I don’t really have the time right now to make these dishes as home (except the grouper) but flavor wise we were a little disappointed. Still an enjoyable experience, though.
Beautiful restaurant with attentive staff and delicious food. On this visit we had tapas (antipasto platter, pork empanadas and ceviche) with wine. On a previous visit we tried the Paella. All at fantastic, and well worth a visit. One of Fernandina’s best.
