Under New Management. We tried Hana Sushi last night after many months of not going there. The food was wonderful! Although we liked the previous owners we liked this new menu very much and the owner was so nice and helpful. I hope they are very successful! We will definitely go again!
Loved It Years Ago… What Happened?. My husband and I were regulars (1 – 2 times a week) at Hana for many years. I loved their Rock N Roll and he loved their beef fried rice. The ingredients were always fresh and tasted amazing. Everything had flavor. We went back last week and were gravely disappointed. The Edamame was undercooked, the beef in the fried rice tasted like plain beef – no flavoring, not even salt or pepper, the chicken in the teriyaki was the same. I stopped eating the Rock N Roll (which they custom made for me) because even the cream cheese was warm and the rice was undercooked. It tasted like it had sat out on the counter for a long time. The seaweed was incredibly chewy. The teriyaki chicken used to come with a pile of veggies. Now, it’s served on a skillet full of onions, two pieces of broccoli, and one carrot slice. The chicken tasted like the sauce had been put on it after the chicken was prepared in the onions – just the onions, nothing else. The sauce was runny and subpar. Even my small bowl of fried rice was completely flavorless and sopping wet with oil. We ended up sending the food back. The owner gave us 50% off our meal. We will not be back.
Big plate nice decoration But the sushi roll too big,too much cheese even can’t find fish on my roll
Small restaurant with very good fresh sushi an excellent Hibachi steak. generous portion sizes and very attentive service. Highly recommended

Worth the drive. My family is willing to drive from I-10 and 295 are to enjoy the sushi this place has to offer. It is worth the drive, the food and service have always been excellent. As a surprise this past Valentines Day, took the bride back out there. She was excited and enjoy every moment there.
Hana Sushi is really good. We ate at Hana Sushi last night for the first time in a long time and really enjoyed it. It is small and located in a strip mall, but the food was very good and the service by Savannah was great! She was so friendly and accommodating. We started with the tuna sushi and a shrimp tempera roll. Both were very good. I had the vegetarian hibachi and my husband had the steak and chicken. Lots of fresh veggies in both dishes, rice good, and soups. Too much food but that is OK as I brought the leftovers home. Better than some of the other oriental choices on the island.
